Difference between a custom dress and one from our collection.

At Débh Herrera, we don't just create custom designs; we also have collection dresses. 

The difference is that for a dress created just for you, you are the main inspiration. We base our designs on your personality, style, body type, and preferences. Often, we create these together with you, especially when you have a clearer idea of what you want. We use our design expertise to help you choose the correct fabrics, ideal cuts, and details that will make your dress a true masterpiece. We can also start from scratch if you don't yet have an idea of what you want for a personalized piece.

A collection dress is inspired by general themes that might appeal more broadly to our clients. We propose silhouettes and styles that adapt to the market, but always with an innovative touch that you will hardly find in another brand.  

Regarding the creation process, for custom pieces, the entire pattern-making and process are done solely for you. For collection pieces, we already have a base pattern. Sometimes, for this reason, a custom piece might be more expensive than something from our collection, but the type of fabrics used and the complexity of the design also play a big role here. We present collections with more accessible fabrics when we see that our clients need more competitive prices, or with finer fabrics so they can see our designs shine and when they are looking for something more upscale.

The truth is that we put a lot of experimental work into our collections. The idea is to try things not yet seen to offer you innovation; this aspect of design adds great value to the piece. 

And of course, a big difference is that since the collection already exists, you can make a decision based more on something you can try on and feel; whereas with a custom piece, you will need to trust our work and be patient with the creation process.

Finally, although all our designs express the essence of Débh Herrera, our collections highlight some of our brand values more prominently, such as innovation, experimentation, and inspiration from a woman who is unique, sensitive, and strong at the same time.
