FASHION SHOOT WITH DÉBH HERRERA, LILO DURAZO, AND JORCH ORRANTIA
Always inspired by art and nature, when designing and creating the latest collection of formal dresses, images of plants invading the fabrics as if they were alive came to mind. In the first fitting I did for these pieces, I fell in love with the shapes to such an extent that I wanted to see them framed, as if they were a painting.
I had the idea of creating concept photographs, which immediately caught my eye when I came across the work of Valery Hegarty, an American plastic artist who intervenes works with plants and roots, as if life emerged from them in a way that was somewhere between surreal and hyperrealist.
The project came to life while talking with actress and model Lilo Durazo (https://www.instagram.com/laguera_durazo/?hl=es). She wanted to do a photoshoot with my garments, and at that time, she had already posed for photographer Jorch Orrantia. I loved seeing the contrast of Lilo's personality and her tattoos brought into an ethereal and sophisticated world thanks to J. Orrantia's work (

Thanks to Jorge, I got to know the excellent makeup work of Veronica Calatayud (
https://www.facebook.com/veronicacalatayudmaquillajeprofesional/). We were looking for a clean face with a natural glow. Incredibly, the foundations she applied lasted all day and no touch-ups were needed.
From the moment we discussed the shooting, there was a lot of chemistry, which flowed in Desierto de Los Leones, an ideal location, for its light and vegetation that envelops in a magical way.

Jorch told us how every day he dedicates himself to looking at paintings from all eras. This is evident in the way he directs the model. Every glance, every pose, even the opening of her fingers, was directed as if, at the moment of taking the photograph, he was creating a canvas.

And what can I say about Lilo's professionalism, even though it was 7 in the morning, it was cold and the ground was wet, her expressions and movements flowed so naturally with every word from Jorch Orrantia.
