WEDDING AWARDS 2022 AND THE STORIES WE WEAVE

One day 20 years ago, I started my first job in fashion; another day 10 years ago, I began my career as a fashion designer in Paris; and five years ago, I had my first independent wedding dress project with my own brand in Mexico. This year, my team and I received recognition from the "WEDDING AWARDS 2022" by bodas.com for our wedding dresses. We are very grateful to everyone who has trusted us, and as a designer, in addition to being thankful and happy, I have also had time to reflect. You learn when you lose, but also when you win.

Time is relative when you are constantly passionate about what you do, and suddenly, one day, pleasant surprises of recognition arrive unexpectedly. We imagine our clients' stories in the same way. Some couples have a long history together, others are relationships that take the plunge and decide to get engaged in a matter of months; in any case, behind those dresses and those weddings, there are two people whose lives have been preparing them. The experience of each pair of newlyweds and our work meet; and it is there that unique, special designs emerge that, more than dressing a bride, dress a life project.

I have been fortunate in several circumstances, but deep down, upon review, I realize that just as I have been designing, sewing, and/or embroidering dresses with my team, little by little I have been weaving the plot of this story. This has been a chosen path, and I have enjoyed every step. Of course, there have been obstacles, setbacks, and mistakes, but it is precisely dealing with these that builds more solid things. If not, ask those brides, and then those great couples celebrating multi-digit anniversaries.

Lovely brides and all our clients! Thank you for this recognition! We wish you not only a beautiful dress, but also that along your journey, you identify the old button in time and sew it, that you choose a good zipper for good and bad times, that you fill every day with lace and embroidery, that you open that neckline more when you need to be daring; but above all, that you never stop designing and decorating the life you have chosen with love and passion.
